WEEKLY PAYMENT OPTION

People have asked for a smaller payment option plan, and now we offer weekly payments. Those who subscribe for a season or year-round enjoy lower weekly costs in exchange for the larger up-front payment. That's fair. But not everyone can make that payment. Go to Claim Your Share and see if our new payment plan works for you. We love cash and checks, so contact us at 360-692-2504 or meet us at the farm or a farmers market to sign up.

FARMERS MARKET THOUGHTS

When thinking about groceries, think about farmers markets. They aren't just for muffins. You can buy most everything you need for the week at the Poulsbo Farmers Market, eggs, meat, produce, herbs, milk. Why buy food that's been aged in the back of a truck or a cargo hold?

FRESH CHICKENS, FRUIT, AND PRODUCE

The FRESH PRODUCE picked this morning is truly beautiful. LETTUCE dominates, of course, but what is better than fresh picked. The scent is delightful and the flavor is satisfying.

The FRESH FRYERS are mostly between 4 and 6 pounds. We also have some 2 to 3 pound birds just right for two with no leftovers. In addition, we have chicken HEARTS and LIVER. These are fresh today and will be frozen tomorrow. They are still $5.00/lb. Current CSA members receive a 10% discount.

YUMMY CHERRIES AND APRICOTS are here. This is not part of the Fruit Share.  Both are certified organic. The Cherries are from Central Washington, and the Apricots are from California (it's been too cool here for them to be ripe yet). We get these through All One Family Farm and the Chimicum Corner Farmstore since we are a pickup point for them.

APRICOTS @ $3.50/lb

#1 SELAH (aka REDS) @ $4.99/lb

#1 RAINIERS @ $6.99/lb

#2 RAINIERS @ $4.99/lb

July 1st or January 1st???
Well now, isn't this a fine how do you do? It's cold and foggy. Where's the sunshine? Where's the heat? Most other places are burning up, literally, while it's so cold here only the weeds are happy, and then only some of them.

Our family farm since 1892.

Our business was founded in 1892 and changes with the generations and the needs of our community. We decided to go into farming produce in 2004, and became WSDA/USDA certified organic in 2005. We started our CSA in 2006 and the response continues to be overwhelming
