Saturday October 29th Poulsbo Farmers Market

Great Goodies at the Poulsbo Farmers Market Saturday

Drop by and visit Cliff at the first "Winter" season market. It is where it always is at 7th and Iverson in Poulsbo.

At this time of year pumpkins take the lead. We have jack-o-lantern sized pie pumpkins. These are great, and we are selling them for only 45¢ per pound. This is a huge savings just for our delightful "Halloween holiday."

We have luscious squash: delicata, Guatemala Blue Banana (reminds me of a winter zucchini), Anna Swartz hubbard (short fibers give a wonder texture), Acorns, and Buttercup.

Here is our "little list" of truly special food for you and your family:

Yukon gold potatoes
corn
collard greens
silverbeet
kale
head lettuce
mustard greens
green onions
carrots
beets

Our prices, as well as the prices of the other farmers rival the grocery stores. Don't be hoodwinked by the grocery stores. Come to the Poulsbo Farmers Market and see for yourself. Fresh Good Food Kitsap Grown

We dropped the price!

Send me your order by Monday evening by clicking here to send me an e-mail, and pay when you pick them up. I'll e-mail you for the pick up day.

Kids love them!
They come in this week in time for Halloween parties.
Great Halloween party treats.
They are yummy.
Not at all like the apples in the grocery store.

I have never tasted a better Red Delicious apple. It was big, hard, juicy, and crisp, and filled with more flavor than the ones I bought from the store.

The Honeycrisps are always rated the best in taste tests, these are juicy and crisp with a strong apple scent.

Both are healthy for you. You can eat the whole apple, skin and all because its Certified Organic and raised in Central Washington by family owned farm.
These apples are perfect for canning, baking, freezing, or cooking.

Already ordered? You get the lower price, too.
Red Delicious Apples $39 per 40# boxes

Honeycrisp Apples $46 per 40# boxes

Fresh, just picked apples

These apples are "home delivery grade" which means they will have a small blemish or two.

Woolen Acres is a small 10 acre farm located in south Kitsap near Burley, it is owned & operated by Jade, Cynthia, Elliana, & Kearalyn Pope.

Their lambs are raised on a natural diet consisting primarily of grass & legume pasture, with supplemental feed provided when necessary. All lambs for meat are finished exclusively on pasture without any grain.

There is a very limited quantity of this lamb available. Please see our lamb flyer for cuts and prices.

Jade is very involved with the Puget Sound Meat Producers Cooperative, (PSMPC) which operates a USDA inspected mobile meat processing unit. After conferring with Jade, we decided to butcher our beef  with the PSMPC, which allows us to sell our beef by the piece at our Farm Store.

The lamb and beef are naturally raised, however they are not certified organic.

Our family farm since 1892.

Our business was founded in 1892 and changes with the generations and the needs of our community. We decided to go into farming produce in 2004, and became WSDA/USDA certified organic in 2005. We started our CSA in 2006 and the response continues to be overwhelming
